Build_3.1 Status & Android Edition


Hey gamers!

I’m back from my week‑long vacation, and wow - what a burst of activity after Build_3 dropped! Don’t get me wrong, it’s absolutely awesome. I’m really glad to have received your feedback and criticism on some of the game’s current elements. This post will answer some of the questions I got in private messages.

Build_3.1: work‑in‑progress tasks.

Q: Is item sorting in the inventory planned to be implemented?

A: Finished implementing this in inventory yesterday. Just need to polish and add ammo category.


Combat System

Yeah, I’ve seen a lot of you say the combat feels way simpler than it was in Ren’Py - and yep, you’re spot on! But no worries - I’m working on bringing back a few key things: the reaction slider, having to actually use ammo for guns, and rewards for taking down monsters. You’ll see all that in Build_3.1!


Crafting System

Q: Crafting system - where is it?

A: Yes, my mistake - I didn’t mention that some of the old systems will return a bit later. Crafting definitely won’t be in Build_3.1.


New rooms

As soon as I’m done polishing up the inventory and combat stuff, I’ll get to work on new rooms for the new zone. I’m aiming to add at least three residential rooms.


Keypads & keycards system

Just locked rooms - you’ll need keycards to get in. Nothing fancy.


Survival System

I’m planning to bring back Energy and Lewdness. Yeah, «Survival» doesn’t really fit this system, but I’m sticking with that name. And don’t worry — I’ll make sure to label which bar does what.


Android Edition

Once Build_3.1 hits the stable branch, I’ll start looking into making an experimental Android version. Chances are, I’ll end up using Build_3 for mobile if Build_4 ends up being too heavy for phones and tablets.
